fleece locker hooked and cross stiched rug

I tried to weave the fleece on the ends and it made the edges ruffly, I don't like how the rug wont stay flat so im probably going to take it apart and make a new rug from it.

making a locker hooked bag pt1

This bag is made out of the recycled
Canvas from the rug pictured below

This rug was great at first but as I began to fill in the canvas it started to lose its shape so much it wouldn't lay flat any more.

As you can see in the last picture the sides are all bunched up so much that the rug is totally out of wack. so I took the rug apart and recycled the fabric in to other rugs and now the canvas is going to be come this lovely bag.

I used a sewing machine to sew down the lose edges so that it would be easier to work with, I don't know if this picture shows is very well but it you look you can see some of the seems that are sewn down.

Granny squares of different sizes all worked in to one blanket

This is and idea I came up with a few years ago but never had the right time and photos to post this project to this blog any sooner. the larger squares are 4 times the size of the smaller ones minus 1 on the large squares and 2 rows on each of the small squares the reason for this is because I wanted to add a black border to make every thing nicely trimmed. If you are not going to border your squares then make them to the 1-4 ratio, meaning larger one is 4x bigger then smaller, you will also need 4x more smaller ones to make up the project in this style anyway.
