This sunflower rug is so close to done

I've been working on this rug for unknown number of months but finally it's getting close to completion so check out these progress photos.

Sunflower rug mid completion

I started this rug in the middle of the summer because I had a lot of extra yellow and orange fabric. I placed bees among the flowers as a little detail and homage to my dads beekeeping.
Now that the flowers are nearly completed, I can finally start to get to work on the background soon. I'm hoping to fill in the background with a bunch of different shades of blue green and some brown. i'm trying to make this rug look like a stand of  flowers that have been left up to their own devices. I know that if you plant a bunch of different kinds of sunflowers together the colors will eventually mix, and that is what I'm trying to recreate in this piece.
