This sunflower rug is so close to done

I've been working on this rug for unknown number of months but finally it's getting close to completion so check out these progress photos.

      I am going to make a large Locker hook rug (150 cm x 250 cm) and am hoping to use images of indigenous flowers on our farm as part of my design and was interested to see that you also used the method I thought of following. I thought I would do the rug in strips of 50 centimeter x 150 and leaving strips open for attaching the pieces to each other once all the strips are done. U less there is a better method?

    Its very beautiful but I think you should hang it on a wall and not use it as a rug.

    I rug hook the traditional way, and have made a few locker hooked rugs, but round shapes elude me. I'm encouraged by your rug because you don't shy away from circular motifs. Gonna try again!
